Not sure why I am being modded down. The "ratings" on Rotten Tomatoes mean nothing. The 3rd top rated movie of all time is "Lady Bird" and the 5th is "Get Out" and 7th is "Mad Max: Fury Road". The best movies of all time. Think about that.

The top rated movie of ALL TIME on Rotten Tomatoes is "Black Panther". So....yeah.

If you are male, uneducated and unemployed you have little chance of finding a mate. Thus young men will look for other options. Just because you are uneducated doesn't mean you are a simpleton - it just means you didn't have access to education.

They are my least favorite. They can't even stick to a genre, plus the band members seem to change every week.

  13. Welcome to Slashdot, where everyone's an expert and the people actually doing things are not.

  14. I don't know, I am not an expert in the field like you. Maybe the NOBEL PRIZE WINNER IN OPTICS knows? Too bad he didn't ask you first as it would have saved him from wasting his time. I am off to write an email to him to tell him K. S. Kyosuke knows he is wasting his time and advise him to stop his investigations.

  15. Thanks, I'll let the NOBEL PRIZE WINNER IN OPTICS know that K. S. Kyosuke says he is wasting his time building OPTICAL solar concentrators. After all, such efforts have failed before so there is no reason to attempt something new.

  16. 20 million units were sold in a previously niche market in order open up technical education. But I am sure you know what is more suitable. Another Slashdot expert who has never shipped anything, but knows the answers. How original. If only the experts visited Slashdot before they embark on their projects. They would learn so much.

  17. Silly NASA still messing around with obsolete rovers. Why aren't they building space factories and Mars colonies and mining asteroids? They obviously don't read Slashdot comments. If they did we would be living on Mars by now.

  18. Re:Wonder what engineering mess it is this time on Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ Promises Better Performance, Starts at $25 (venturebeat.com) · · Score: 0

Oddly none of those designs shipped 20 million units and ushered in a new age of hobbyist electronics. But next time they should run the designs by you for your approval.

  19. Maybe they are color blind. Next time, they should ask the Slashdot experts before shipping anything.

  20. Right. The reality is that they shipped 20 million Raspberry Pis without your expert input.

  21. Right. In your opinion (that lacks detailed information), it is overwhelmingly likely a Nobel Prize optics expert is wasting his time. Christ, do you guys even LISTEN to yourselves?

  22. I see. I'll let the Nobel Prize winner know that a Slashdotter just said that he is wasting his time. Thanks for your input.

  23. It is the same thought process used by Space Nutters like yourself: criticize those that are actually doing real stuff while spouting fantastical Space Nutter BS. This guy is actually an expert in optics, but you dismiss him because he isn't a "solar systems engineer". Amazing.

  24. Quite the opposite. I am applauding this guy for actually DOING something.

  25. It wasn't an accident. They CREATED the "right time". It wasn't just luck. They actually went out and DID IT. Amazing stuff.
