The PARENT is total bullshit. The website specifically states that "MP3 files have no Digital Rights Management (DRM) restrictions and cost the same as the Windows Media Audio (WMA) files that we sell."
THough you still can't buy tracks on a Mac, but they are "definitely working on it."
I'm sorry but that's bullshit. I'm doing a double major in CS and English right now, and I can tell you that I need to do just as much work in my English classes as in my CS classes. Yes, I agree, Computer Science requires a lot of hard work, but you know what? So do arts degrees. The people "who are always out partying and never seem to study" are probably just the type of people who are happy to get B-'s or C+'s, while you're shooting for A's, and are therefore doing the (considerable) amount of work required to get them.
There's also the possibility that you either don't like your major, or you're socially inadequate and want to have an excuse for why you're not talking to girls and making friends.
Well, this wasn't actually organised by SomethingAwful per se, rather the forum goons. None of this was actually planned by Lowtax or the other people behind the site, it was simply people on the forums getting together to do something cool. This IS real.
That Mario game you had on your TI-85 was not an emulator, so not prior art. It was coded by a fan of Mario, doing it for fun. I'm pretty sure you can't emulate a z80 (on the Gameboy) on a z80 (the TI-85's).
I'm not saying there was no prior art for handeld emulation, just that there was no Nintendo emulation on a Ti Calculator. Ever.
