Even if you don't have the resources for each classroom to have a TV in the school, I'm sure you can get a parent/kid from each class to be the designated "TV kid" for the day to bring in a TV for the class to watch the Inauguration.
Sounds funny, but I'm sure kids would fight over the chance to watch it on their TV.
I'm also a Canadian, and I can say that I'm also getting more spam than ever. I don't know who they polled on this less spam front, but I'd sure love an email account there.
I've had this happen many times and been annoyed with it. All I did was close the lid again (so that the machine would sleep) and wait another 5 seconds, open it again and it starts up perfectly. Give that a whirl next time and see if it does the trick.

..they'd be stupid to change anything about those film sets after all these years. Conspiracy theorists worldwide would have a field day!
