The great thing about highly connected mesh networks is that there is no central point of control (ISP). It is very hard to censor traffic when it can run through any one of thousands of indivdual users' machines.

Ah this is in fact true ... but probably not too hard to change if you need to for the unlikely case that this is required.

I sounds like a parallel network is required just for transmission of the keys. I'm sure that will be happening in short order.
