Note that this does not mean that they are replacing IE with FireFox.
M$ are to release an anti-virus that has two components.
1. An anti-virus
2. A blocking list of suspicious clients that offered malware.
They will be forced to replace IE by Firefox.
Regards,
Martin.
As far as I Know they have to do more in order to give others more chance to compete.
They have to reveal source code and specifiy interfaces to serversoftware.
Could they be fined just for delivering bad error prone software that causes bilions of dollars of damage through software leaks and vulnarabilities?
Regards,
Martin.
'At least if Linux takes off, their viruses will propagate and we won't be seen as the bad guys any more.'
As least if Linux takes off......
See netcraft.com webserver survey
Apache continues gaining marketshare at expense of among others IIS. More than two in three Websites now run Apache.
IF Linux takes off??
It looks like he even doesn't know what hit him!
...their virusses will propagate......
Why then don't we have Apache aimed or Linux virusses on the Internet?
If you make an effective virus, make one for Apache / Linux! You will paralyse the world, for weeks on a row.
What's the problem? Is it too difficult or is it impossible to build these virusses for Linux and Apache?
...and we won't be seen as the bad guys anymore.
Don't you worry. Your're the worst, in my view, and will be regarded as such long after you vanished.
Come on. L' histoire se repete (everything happens again and again).
In the thirties a guy in Holland wrote an article telling the truth about Adolf Hilter.
He was taken to court, condemned and jailed. The reason was: Insult of friendly head of state.
The sentence must still be on his record.......
Why don't we just get rid off Mr. McBribe, in the way Jerry did? A case was files against SCO for spoiling business. The gouvernment overthere got involved, maybe because they are heavilly involved in the promotion of Open source. It was either cards on the table or back out.
Is it too much fun to have a case like this in the USA? Is that the reason that there has not yet been an action like that in the USA?
