Do you know how many times we've heard this kind of claim in the past?
Indeed, but a lot of the time the claim has been correct until someone took an especially stupid shortcut for the sake of convenience. DVD encryption was one example (https://www.wired.com/1999/11/why-the-dvd-hack-was-a-cinch/)
Or you could figure out that very few people are so insecure that they would need to lie on a pseudonymous forum
It didn't look like a lie, it looked like full on jingoistic stupidity and despite your backpedalling I think that is what it was since there is not the most remote trace of humour in that first post. The lie comes later with your backtracking and your pointless attacks on me just because I politely pointed out your stupidity. How the hell do you cope if this is all it takes to set you off with the "Bob", "Krampus" and "special kid" stuff? Shouldn't you be taking your medication if you are really that fragile?
Who honestly expects XP users who don't care/accept/understand security arguments
All it takes on most MS Win10 installs to get a ransomware virus is to open the wrong email. To be brutally frank, if you care about security then the MS products are not for you. If you don't have it as your first consideration and want a tradeoff to run certain software then MS Windows XP is just as valid a choice IMHO as any of their malware-prone range - sometimes even more valid if it's more compatible with something the user wants to run.
In security terms an XP install with Thunderbird is far more secure than a Win10 install with MS Outlook. I suppose that's relative because both are ridiculously fragile.
Why not - you replied twice to my initial post after all. Just admit to yourself that you fucked up by not reading the summary before writing your petty attack on JAXA and then later pretended it was a joke to avoid looking like the idiot you are. No need to admit it to me since I worked that out from the start.
Wood burning is not clean because it emits particulates
I'm pretty sure they either have electrostatic precipitators or bag filters on something of the scale we are talking about. I'd say try another tack if you want to find problems with the project. I see it as a waste of new wood. It's not as if they are burning branches, old pallet timber or whatever. It's different to the other biomass burning plants around the world that burn things like the waste left after sugar cane crushing.
Those levels would be bad news for modern farmers though. Of course you knew that but are just recycling a "talking point" dreamed up by a teenage political intern some years back who was far more clueless than you would have been even at the same age. You don't have to be that lazy.
You are still trying? Where the fuck was the joke? It looks to me that you just didn't read the summary and wanted to have a go at a rocket scientist to inflate your ego?
I clearly had no way at all to be able to tell the difference between you acting like a total idiot in a failed attempt to be funny or merely being one of the many "it's not US space so let's dump on it without having a clue" losers. Please keep that in mind the next time you attempt to be funny but fail so dismally.
Also why are you trying so hard to convince me you were joking?
at this moment AMD does not compete in the high end category at all
Rubbish, if you want a cluster compute node with 64 cores and 1TB of RAM you can get an AMD solution a vast amount cheaper than an Intel one. Your "high end" is not as high as you think it is.
You forget that some of them have already been involved in crashing their own economy earlier. Mao didn't do it alone. It was a long time ago but some of the ruling members of the party had relatively high levels of responsibility in the 1970s or even 1960s.
Ah - I see being put in my place by a bully. Thank you for reminding me of my "education" from more than four decades back. I really do not see why you bother.
That's been the normal situation with Nintendo. Older stuff that runs cooler and has all the bugs shaken out - which is probably just coincidental with cheaper. If you buy Nintendo gear and never buy a single one of their games again they have still made some profit on the console. Even the original DS, that was sold for around five years was a couple of years behind the cutting edge when it came out.
the specifications would not be too low to make any reasonable modern game
You just have to revise "reasonable" down a bit below the bleeding edge PC games or use a few tricks. Photorealism isn't really much of a thing in most games so a deliberate cartoony approach saves a lot of processing work.
A private citizen doing this stuff would be in jail for this by now. Impound the experimental cars before someone dies. Once that's done Uber may be willing to negotiate and they may do some proper testing instead of letting dangerous unfinished shit on the roads.
I've got to admit that such a question shocked me too much for me to feel insulted. Is your education system really so fucked up that you think such a question should be asked? Is it really something to feel smug about if you think really you are one of the few who know what is going on when those younger than you in the same place got a raw deal?

So slang guy is referring to literacy? It appears you only have one card to play even when it is ridiculously inappropriate.
Not as such. Your bluff didn't work loser.

WTF is your problem kid? What's with the hate of JAXA?
You are still trying?
Where the fuck was the joke? It looks to me that you just didn't read the summary and wanted to have a go at a rocket scientist to inflate your ego?
Grumpy? From the guy making an attack on JAXA or pretending to do so?
Now you are making me laugh - what a loser!

Indeed, but normally it take a little more than acting like a complete idiot to make them laugh instead of just writing you off as a complete idiot.
Your thanks is appreciated supreme arbiter of rocketry.
It's all there in the summary that you probably should have read before posting so that you don't waste our time.
Sounds kind of pathetic but fair enough.
Ah - I see being put in my place by a bully.
Thank you for reminding me of my "education" from more than four decades back. I really do not see why you bother.
How? You have not mentioned a single thing I did not know?

My cause? I just seem to be getting insulting for bringing up detail.
Not really, since "themselves" are a small bunch making the decisions that don't really care if the rest of their nation bleeds. China is autocratic.
