Developers block, like writers block means you are out of ideas. You clearly stated you have plenty of ideas.
Your problem is motivation. If you've really been working on that project for six months, maybe it's time for a vacation.
If the vacation doesn't fix your motivation problem, then you may want to truly evaluate if you are suited to sole programmer work,
or if you are even suited to programming professionally.
Anybody got a number for NASA?
I thought I'd call and let them know that they can get ice around the corner at the quick shop for 90cents a bag.
I'm just sayin'........
Cuz, you know...it's not like a terrorist or some wanted felon would think to try and sneak on a plane by taking a drug that masked his fingerprints. ...and I'm sure no one would be at all outraged if he managed to get into the cockpit and fly the plane into crash it into something. I'm sure you'd give the guy taking the fingerprints a pass on his failure to follow the protocol.
Somehow I think your stereotype of "FATBALL LIVES AT HOME WITH MOMMY LOL" falls flat.
Agreed. None of the WoW players people I personally know (meaning I regularly see them with my own eyes out in the real world) fit into that lardball living with mommy sterotype. I'm sure there are plenty of them out there though.
Personally, I don't care for raids and I only tolerate battlegrounds for better gear and to satisfy the occasional desire for PvP.
I enjoy questing alone or in small groups. Doing the same quests again as a different class and race puts enough difference in to keep it from becoming mundane for me. When I'm tired of that, I can always suck it up and roll an Alliance character and play the other side.
Actually, no, using any food crop for fuel is a bad idea. This ensures that the 3rd world are always starving by removing food crops for consumption and replacing them with crops that go into rich 1st world nations' cars.
The corn that is used to make ethanol, would normally otherwise be used to feed cattle. People seem to ignore the
fact that making ethanol does not *use up* all the corn. One of the left overs is what they call distillers grain, which gets sold off to feed cattle.
I am an environmentalist myself, but I will never agree with ANY bio fuels being used
Well.... At least your honest. Since you've already made up your mind and won't consider that you
might not have all the information, I guess there's no point in having a conversation with you.
Since the authors of this worthless article don't have any new ideas other than "WoW with tons of people on the same server!!!"
Then everyone (including all those damn kids) would be able to play both horde and alliance on the same 'server' and all the obvious problems with that.
Personally I don't care for sports data and have no favorite team. The big difference here is that I understand that most men DO like those things and I'm not offended when a business tries to cater to the guys who like that. It would be incredibly arrogant and self centered of me to complain and try to force that business to change just because they're not catering to my particular tastes.
...and to answer your question; yes, there are way too many stupid people in the world.
But remember, half the people you know are below average.
This also shows good reason for you to think twice when someone is offering you a SERVICE instead of a tangible product.
In this case there was both, but loss of service made the tangible product significantly less useful.
The warrant lists many reasons (some bogus) why the warrant was to be issued. Including changing grades for students, illegally copying movies, "fixing" computers for other students so that the computer cannot be scanned for illegally obtained music, etc.
They seized everything that could be used to store digital information.
The people I've known that do html, css, and graphics were called a Web Designer. Developer implies your putting functionality in place.
Designer implies making is pretty, and at least some basic UI design. A lot of web developers do both but most are only good at one or the other.
The issue here isn't/.'s arrogance. The issue is your ignorance.
That wasn't related to slashdot. It was directed at people.
People looking around in their little boxed off world in which they exist with their 5 friends, and far overestimating their significance.
Even if a half a million people blogged or twittered, it would not qualify as a massive outcry. Most of America (let alone the world) doesn't even know what twitter is, so making a sweeping claim based on an already insignificant subset of people is just ridiculous.
Some pissed off slashdotters and diggers is not a massive public outcry nor does it make something wildly-unpopular.
Seriously, your arrogance is appalling.
Last week my shade broke on a sunny day and caused a glare on my screen. Then I found out we'd run out of mountain dew in the fridge and I had to walk downstairs to get more from the mail room fridge.
A computer doing something you programmed it to do is not doing anything "mostly on its own."
Spending the same amount on lab techs would probably yield a more reliable system, King noted.
I find it interesting that they didn't explain in the article in what way this machine is unreliable.
At $25 million it should be pretty easy to figure out that my kids don't need (and I won't buy) a wii game every time a new kids animation movie gets released.
Seriously, do we really need console
games for: Wall-E, Ice Age, Kung Fu Panda and Bee Movie?
Lastly, why didn't Google (of all companies) bake IPv6 in to these main apps when they were first written?
Perhaps the best and brightest spent 18 months of extra time on the massage table and drinking smoothies. Then recently edited the.conf to include the line $IPV6 = 1;

You seriously think liquifying human remains and feeding to humans is a good idea?
Beyond the yuck factor, perhaps you've heard of mad cow or scrapie?
There are only 94.5 million cattle in the U.S. now versus 60 to 100 million bison in the 19th century.
That's pretty much a wash, so blaming any alleged global warming (or climate change or whatever you dopes are calling it these days) on cows just doesn't fly.
mmmmm.....Soylent Green...
If we taught logic in schools, pretty soon we wouldn't have anyone left who was "qualified" to be a politician.

(2) Youth who create Internet content and use social networking sites are more likely to be targets of cyberbullying.
This is like saying children who go to the aquatic center are more likely to be pushed into the pool.
Hey, here's a thought! Don't let these "children ages 2 to 17" roam the internet unsupervised!
This is the kind of stupidity you get when "everybody is a winner" and you go miles out of your way to make sure all the kids "feel good."
This also shows good reason for you to think twice when someone is offering you a SERVICE instead of a tangible product.

Well you have to pay for that 'free' healthcare SOMEHOW!
