  1. what the... on Napster Pre-Paid Cards · · Score: 1, Interesting

"The company is aiming the card at teen-agers without credit cards and parents who want to give the gift of legal music downloads. " and then the RI*A can sue the parents.... brilliant... (why does "give the gift of legal music downloads" sound like a Public Service Announcement? I wonder what kids are forced to watch in school nowadays.)

Very well written paper. Wish I had something amusing or demeaning to say, but I don't. Just wanted to say that.

It's amazing that a thought with no pre-cognition makes it onto slash... oh wait... You should re-evaluate your standpoint by looking to the combination fo technologies that makes something secure. A broadband connection is no less secure, just requires a different tactic to sniff traffic. The real security is the combination of software and hardware along with the knowledge of how to fuse them together. Try to be more open minded, although keeping your opinions on what makes something not work helps design it to meet your expectations. (Oh shite, the fortune cookie thingy broke, oh well... umm... you are going on a trip, and, um make happy noises when hitting the space bar.)

We live in an age where any answer can be obtained by Google, any image can be seen in a JPEG, and anyone who operates a computer for more than a "tool" knows that that is exactally what Windows is. Eventually, all the shit we study in depth will be common knowldege for a ten year old, and anyone who wishes to do more with a computer than write proposals and email will use something open source and mallable. Even those who wish to just write things and email I am sure will much rather prefer to do it for free, since it is such a commonplace way of communication these days. (hate the tool quote with computers.. "but my computers just a tool"- "Yes, and so are you")

Of all the answers, maybe we are ready for the carbon-fiber tethered space elevator to be built...
Its just too bad it'll take a thousand centuries with current technology to manufacture the billion tons of carbon fiber needed manufacture the elevator... sigh... I was looking forward excitingly to the long ride to space, accompanied by a nice Muzak rendition of Michael Bolton's finest... hmmph...

"(Playmate Baby Bright Eyes) has azure blue oversize eyes that blink, sweep the room and interact with your child. Hell, I don't even have children, I just want a good reason to keep them away.
