If you agree to access xbox live content, then they have the right to ensure all players have even ground. After all, if people can hack the dashboard, what is to keep them from giving themselves unfair advantages in games?
They even stated several months ago that they would be doing this over xbox live, I don't know why people are so surprised.

All I know is 90% of whats on tv sucks, and it will suck whether I can install linux on my cable box or not.
Besides, don't open-source fanatics only watch farscape anyway? I think it's on dvd now...
I guess you have to be smart to write science fiction, but attributing lower sales to the fact that people like other sci-fi/fantasy titles better is sheer genius.
I can see how train crashes could be a big problem since it is difficult to swerve out of the way of another train when you have to sit on wooden chairs.
