You assume too much. Specifically, about the religion part. For example, I'm an atheist, and majority of Israel's Jewish population is secular or atheist and doesn't really care for the religious claims.
The truth is that Jews as a NATIONALITY have had continuous presence in this land for thousands of years, and have a strong HISTORIC claim on it. And no sane and accepted historian can deny this, because it is based on undisputed archeological evidence.
Another thing that you probably assume is that you understand the persecution of Jews. Well, surprise to you: YOU DON'T. Only Jews who actually lived in countries with strong tradition of antisemitism can understand it. The Arab/Israeli conflict is greatly supported by various mercantile interests: starting from suicide bombers blowing themselves for money (their families get it afterwards), continuing to various politicians making career out of the perpetual (and quite futile) "peace process", and ending with various corporations making money on various projects (weather peace or war related).
As for charity - any kind of money-based charity is questionable (and ultimately harmful), unless you have direct and total control on how the money is spent.

In fact, the reality of the matter is that the continuing war means doom only for one side - Palestinian. This follows from the fact that to support their war they had to continuously degenerate their own people further and further towards the stone age. Also, in US you have a choice: don't like this channel, watch another one. Most channels are privately owned, etc. At least you can get different brands of propaganda if you want it. On Russian TV there is no choice: ALL of Russian TV and most radio stations are directly owned by the government. Independent radio stations are weak and routinely shut down by government officials when they get to loud (their antennas get cut off, literally).
Oh, and another little tidbit of information about the modern Russia: Internet forums have been recognized as a major source of information for the population outside of government control. So, the government employs people to continuously troll and flood the forums with crap, destroying their ability to function. It's a major problem nowadays - almost every significant Russian language forum is under constant attack by these assholes and a lot just can't take the pressure.
LOL, that's actually the funny part.
You see, ICQ is very popular in Russia - hence the interest to buy it. RT, being a propaganda horn of the lowest caliber, doesn't realize that by issuing such generalizations it actually reaffirms the public's view of modern Russia: criminal and corrupt. Which, by the way, is actually true :)
Anyhoo, anything coming from RT must be taken with a grain of salt - it is a propaganda channel after all....
A warning to people out here: RT is the Russian international propaganda channel - ANYTHING it reports should be taken with a grain of salt and verified through other sources.
RT is a farely new Russian government owned news channel, and has been gaining more and more presence everywhere lately. Their journalism is extremely untrustworthy - fabrications are common and government anti-america propaganda is rampant.

The truth is, that IE's delinquent bugs are far from limited to these areas. For example, IE has big troubles with cookies. :(
I recently spent 2 days on troubleshooting a web application issue under IE that was caused by IE not handling domain/subdomain cookie collisions properly. For example: if a browser has a cookie ABC set for "www.abc.com" and another time for "abc.com", then when you load "www.abc.com" it will send out BOTH COOKIES in unpredictable order. This is a bug (albeit somewhat obscure) that has been known for years and is present in IE6,7 and 8. But MS doesn't fix it
I currently own a Samsung CLP-310n printer. Colour laser with network built in, supported by everything. Can be had for less than 150CAD. Overall I'm very happy with it.
