So, you say that userbase between Mac and Windows are pretty much the same. Many geeks blame Joe user that it's their fault that their machines are infected by spyware/Virus/Trojun because they did not patch windows, run anti-spyware, update anti virus def.

And why there's no such things on the Mac side? I beleive there are joe mac users who still running unpatched OSX out there. They click on things just like Joe windows users do.

I mean, wouldn't you be so famous if you can write a first wide spread virus/worm/spyware on OSX or Linux? To prove to Mac/Linux zealots that they are wrong?

It's a good PR for them since they will gain nothing giving RIAA their customer list w/o a fight (even worse if people know about it). And they also have deep enough pocket to pay for legal fees which are more likly to be even when more ppl switch to SBC for their piece of mind and just to piss RIAA off.

    Not Quite...

On highway, they told you right out first even before you can drive anything. On the other hand, X-Box Live doesn't. Sure, if Microsoft tell the X-Box w/ linux users before they log on to the LIVE network that their machine will be patched, your argument would make perfect sense. People are pissed because w/o any warning their machine just stop working because MS secretly sending something to their machine.

IMHO, this behavier is exactly like those script kiddis who like to send people trojan just to mess up other's PC. And that just sux!

Maybe instead of putting the burden on the customer, waiters should organize and demand a LIVING WAGE from their employers.

Yeahh..and you still going to ended up paying for that anyway in food price even when the service suck so bad.

15% tip is a custom in the US. Just like people expect to get pay when they go to work, waiter/waitress also expect a fair tip when they do their job right. It also lower the cost of meal and encorage them to work extra hard. How do you feel if I think you should be pay just minimum wage because I feel that what's it worth . Besides, nobody force you to eat at the restaurant. If you don't like tipping, there's always a Mcdonal around the corner.

When I go to eat at a restaurant, I always tip around %20. Most of the time is just about $2-3 more than normal and I feel that the extra service I got is worth more than a bottle of soda I can get at the same amount of money anyway.

You sound just like my old highschool teacher when 50% of his class fail the final exam because "those students are stupid" - Not because most of the time he got hangovers from the night before. IMHO, if the mainstream of people fail to get it, then it mostly because there's something wrong with the logic behind. How many times have we heard about critical flaw in MS products and everytime it got worse and worse. And do mainstream people get it that they need to update and patch system regularly? No. Now who do you think whose fault is it? MS or those millions of users?
