This is totally a joke. Never in any of the concept or the JTL Threads regarding this have the players shown any real interest in playing Jawas or Gungans. For the Space Expansion, the added races will most likely be spacefaring races, so we are probably looking at the Duros or the Sullustans(some modeling problems here), as playable races. Player and Dev hatred of the Gungans and the potential for actual Jawapr0n to exist make them unlikely candidates.
Although Civ is a very cool game and there are lots of planning and manegement skills one could learn from it, I wouln't reccomend it as a teaching tool, due to it's lack of connection to actual events in history. I don't think that games where students have the opportunity to write/re-write history are a good idea. I can easily imagine some high school age kids, raised on Civ saying "didn't the Babalonians build the Pyramids?"
This is just another in a long line of totally forgettable big rig/trucker oriented games. Perhaps commercial trucking games are the Kiss of Death?
I would like to add MechwarriorIV - Mercenaries to the list of crappy games. Terrible graphics, awful gameplay, mind numbingly easy. Ill take my Mechwarrior (or Battltech) on a 386 with 5.25 diskettes of that piece of junk, anyday.
I have 7 of these, 6 of them for a 3 monitor emulation system that I use as part of some of my exhibitions, they are awesomely programmable, and super compatible with every Emu that I have ever used one with. You can also use them as a mouse controller, to access your GUI while playing, if you need to. They stand up to some heavy abuse, and you can get them for 20 bucks. They are the alpha and omega of Playstation 2 style controllers, hands down
