Anything that doesnt compleatly shoots down SCO should be considered chocking since its obvious that SCO is playing histakes pokers and is bluffing for all it can.

Totaly agree, it not smart at all to quit a IT job when the IT market is almost nonexistent. Its damn stupid to quit for a political stand and then dont get payed and watch the bills stack up that one can pay.

The Smart thing to do is, spend some of your worktime searching for a new job and then when one have the new job, go to the employer and tell him to stuff the work somewhere the sun dont shine.

But then again im a swede, i could quit my job if i wanted to and still get payed enuff to dont care about working anymore for a year or two.

But not everyone is living is a country that have the same amazing unemployment system as sweden, and for those who dont have it. Be smart, like you would be if you where playing a computergame with No save feature.

  7. Is SCO CEO a Troll? on SCO's Open Letter to Open Source Community · · Score: 2, Interesting

Im a new user here and read thru the FAQ on moderation and this description is for a Troll

"Troll -- A Troll is similar to Flamebait, but slightly more refined. This is a prank comment intended to provoke indignant (or just confused) responses. A Troll might mix up vital facts or otherwise distort reality, to make other readers react with helpful "corrections." Trolling is the online equivalent of intentionally dialing wrong numbers just to waste other people's time."

And i just cant helping thinking that the SCO CEO is a Troll. Or is he just a Flamebait??
I tend to lean at he is a Troll. But on the other hand(appard from that you have other fingers) he accualy might beleave in what the was saying with the "Open Letter to Open Source Community" in that case i just feel sorry for him.

He makes alot of commets about the Open Source people and he is throwing accusations around like it was a fertilizer. It fertilized people to get angry and do stupid stuff so if that is his intention .. well then he probobly will get his way, BUT if he is speaking on his firm beleef that everything he have been getting from the lawyers is thru... Then he is just a sad charater that gets my pitty.

There is a saying (and this applys to all laywers at least) "If you are not a part of the solution there is good money to be made in prolonging the problem"
