I don't know that MMO's have ever had a clear direction. Everquest had all the same issues with content and gameplay that the current crop of knockoffs have now. No one is even trying to come up with a better mousetrap, they're just trying to throw shiny rims on that same old copper and wood one we've had for 10 years now.
Hell, Oblivion has better MMO like content a than the current crop of MMOs. That and the gameplay is more fun and challenging, capturing that spirit of exploration that MMOs have completely lacked in recent incarnations.
This guy lost all credibility with me when he put out the steaming pile that is SWG. If he had put out a good game, I might be more apt to listen to what he has to say.
SWG was his chance to prove his 'design theory' in practice.
Those who can, do. Those who can't write a crappy blog about it and promote their folk music.
The answer to funding such a species furthering endevor is an immediate merger of NASA and VIVD Video.
The mass opening of NASA Approved brothels across America with 100% of the profits going to furthering space exploration would provide a wealth of funding nearly overnight!
I don't think there would be any problem. We were told that there would be some media access. He's also speaking at York University (literally across the road) but in one of their large lecture halls. Ours are tiny by comparison. So if you want a shot at actually asking him a question, I'd come to the one at Seneca.
It's at 3:15 PM, Oct. 8th, Room 1206 Stephen E. Quinlan building (The one that actually says Seneca on it).

...is he happy?
He is? Awww F**K!
The same people who pay for cable TV with ads.

We're going to Mars. Time to start clubbing seals and putting those CFCs back in hair spray.

Forgot to mention that he'll be speaking at my College on Oct. 8 So any response I get will be posted then.
You think people who have amassed the financial resources to confront the RIAA have time to sit around and download music? Try again.
Ben Afleck, or however you spell it, said in a recent Tech Tv interview that he downloads music. No need to try again.
