  1. I made my own router case.... on Lego Router · · Score: 3, Funny

But I ran out of Black Bricks halfway through so I switched to blue, then I ran out of them and had to switch to yellow bricks. I ended up using the pink bricks from my daughter's LEGO pony set and before long it became "Linksys and the amazing technicolor dream router". The I had to use the little lego people to fill in the holes on the top of the router so now I have a LEGO policeman dry humping a LEGO baker so i can cover the hole on the top of it. I also installed some killer wheels from the racecar set so now I can easily move the router across my desk without lifting it up off the surface of the desk. I think next I will try to integrate the lego mindstorms kit into it so that it can move around my desk on it's own and replace my computer's automatic cup holder which has been acting up lately...

Though the Wi-Fi Antennas look pretty cool with the space set radar dishes on them...

  14. Re:Blakes 7 on What SciFi Should Get the Reboot Treatment Next? · · Score: 4, Insightful

The actors who played Avon, Vila and Blake were great actors, the rest were mediocre. Orac and Zen were also acted superbly for being machines. Oh and you cannot forget Servelan. She played hot sexy strong in a way I haven't seen yet the only person come close was the visitor leader in V the new series.

The thing is most of the crew needs to be made up with criminals both political prisoners and otherwise. They need not be acted like they are feral animals, the original show did a good job at that, they need the "Violent Offender with Neurochip suppression" otherwise known as Gan. The team needs to be made up of a group of amoral people led by a complete Idealist (Blake). Of course in the original series when Blake left, he took their morals with it and it become a power play between all of the amoralistic bastards left in the crew, save Cally and Dayna. Though season 3 and 4 were fun as well!

Rodents are like the "Insects of the Mammalian Order" they breed like insects, eat a lot of the same crap, and are usually on level 1 of the food chain, just like insects.

You could kill off everyone of the "southern California high desert jumping mouse" and it wouldn't be too long before another rodent moved in to fill the same niche.

Rodents breed fast and die young and this makes them very expendable. I don't think we would ever have to worry about rodents becoming extinct.
