    By lengthening the Ice Age we messed up the cycle and today we are entering in a warming period, if this comet hadn't hit us we would be running into another cooling trend around now and CO2 would be the bees knees and we could drive our SUVs and people would be a lot damn happier.

    I say load up windows 95 on the thing and have a screaming machine for the kiddies, put the load image on a flash drive and when the kiddies mess up their laptop you can just flash it back to factory default.

    Or load it up with some sorta Nintendo DS Emulator or PSP emulator and have a kick ass portable console.

    Or load Mame on it and play a bazillion games on your new portable gaming system!!!

    I know the VMware product is going to be 100X better than the MS-MESS that is going to get crammed down our throats. I mean can Virtual PC use your PC's USB ports, NO, can VMWARE, Yes.

    Can VMware work on a small footprint, yes it can.

    Can MS's product work, no it can't.

    I'll bet that the MS demons will end up winning the Market share with this and VMware virtualization will end up like Novell, Kaput!

    Sad, but true.

    It crashed because some schmuck needed a free ride on the subway and instead of using his psychic paper to get past the check point the idiot used his sonic screwdriver to bypass the system and crashed the servers. Don't blame the hackers, blame the police call box traveling schmuck who needed to be on the other side of London so he could save the world, again.

    People bag about the Japanese prision system being so harsh and mean, I disagree.

    I would rather be in a Japanese jail cell where they lock you in a small room with no one, no prison yard, no TV, no personal property privileges and it is lonely. That a prison in the US where your bunkmate is "Bubba" and he thinks your lips look really pretty. I would rather be isolated and cut off from any one that have someone raping me in a prison.

    I think the US prisons are cruel in that they allow such behavior to occur in the first place. In a way it is cruel and unusual punishment.

    Hah,

    Have you ever used MegaBlocks? They totally suck, the plastic stretches and doesn't bounce back. The only good LEGO clone was the Tyco Blocks and even they have their issues, but their quality of the plastic was a bit better.

    The reason LEGO are good is because the formula they use for their plastic, granted they could be less expensive.

    They should program a type of stem cell that can go and replace every cell in your body within a few seconds or so. Maybe have some sorta energy these cells could feed off of to make them grow and replace the old cells really really fast. Then you could carry around a couple dozen sets of these cells with different DNA that way with each renewal you don't have risk of cancer due to each set of the cells having different DNA.

    If your body is feeling really sick and you are about to die or if you just died of trauma, within a few minutes these cells could go to work replacing all of the old cells and repairing any physical damage to your body.

    Though I don't think hospitals would like because they would be out of a job, there would be no need for Doctors anymore.

    Automated Self-replicating Moon Mining.

    Take that mineral that only exists in 1 cubic meter of the earth's crust. You could mine the moon and send back a 1m^3 block of it in an Apollo type capsule and it would be worth like 1 trillion dollars and pay off any initial setup cost for setting up the initial seed factories that are needed on the moon.

    All you need is robotic factories that build factories that build bigger factories that build more mining equipment that build more factories that build more specialized factories that build better mining equipment than can strip mine the whole damned moon and cover it with solar cells that can turn the moon into a giant disco ball in the sky that provides us with all the rare earth elements we need without having to tear up all of the earth's crust.

    Is it possible to kill off the hunger signals that the body produces so you are never hungry again?

    Either by cutting some of the nerves responsible for giving someone that stomach empty feeling or going in with a gamma knife that they use to target brain tumors and actually killing off the part of the brain that makes the signal to think that you are hungry.

    I would rather have to be reminded by other that I need to eat rather than having to constantly remind myself that I just ate and don't need to eat anymore because I have constant grinding hunger that just plain won't stop and it is like living in constant misery.
