I think you are actually saying the same thing. They are mechanically capable of performing the maneuvres, however carefully scripted, hence the problem is now in intelligence -- discerning what maneuvres are necessary; writing their own scripts, so to speak. It is the complexity of learning that would enable a stroll through a field that is the next great (not to be underestimated!) challenge.
As far as news goes, the main advantage of the internet is that regional news is globally accessible. If I want to know what's going on Country X, (as many people with friends/family scattered around the globe often do) I check an online news source maintained in Country X itself.
In many cases, CNN (and other news giants) will be prone to inaccuracy. I can't tell you how many times people I know have seen reports of hurricanes in their home towns on cable/satellite news and looked out their windows to see sunshine.
Why have I not seen a video/dvd release of Reloaded? One would think the Reloaded dvd would serve as part of the promotion for Revolutions... unless it sucked *that* much:)
