Host and forward your number? I have no idea what you are thinking here.
If you want to port your current phone number to a VoIP provider you'll have to find one that is willing to deal with the incredible headache that is LNP paperwork, and you simply provide them a copy of your current bill and pray.
Or you can use a hardware interface card from digium.com to connect a t1 or pots line directly to your server.
As the sibling post mentioned, I'd love to see an article on what you've done. Maybe you could even get O'Reilly's onlamp site to publish it. Or just throw it up somewhere:).
Well how about, uhm, I dunno, fixing your permissions? either just sudo rails foo && chown -R me:me foo, or ensure you have permission to create a directory in the current directory.
For example, their TDM400 cards, they will randomly stop working and you'll just get static on the line when you pickup. The only way to fix it is to unload and reload the kernel modules.
This problem has been widely reported by numerous people on the mailing list. Digiums only action has been to offer to send a replacement card if you call em (which does nothing).
AND disable the autopiloting system AND they probably have a way for the tower to land the plane in case of emergency. Anyone who disagrees with me is a scared little wussie
I VERY MUCH disagree with you. You sir are a harebrained, idiotic, mentally incompetent, ill informed, loony.
A system to land a plane remotely (i.e. from "the tower" has never been deployed on commercial airliners. Furthermore an autopilot is NOT capable of automatically landing a plane at the vast majority of airports.
I have adopted PHP as my shell scripting language of choice
I think you are slightly confused. "shell scripting" generally refers to writing a script that runs in a shell such as sh, bash, or the one shell to rule them all, ZSH.
Unless of course you run PHP as your shell...no...that's just too horrid to imagine.
Don't forget to check out the OpenBSD release songs (http://www.openbsd.org/lyrics.html)
(posting here so this'll actually get seen...)
Yo Aaron!
You should post in your blog more often, I enjoyed reading the tab posts back in March, but you've been quiet lately... VS keeping you busy?
No standard web pages containing all your search terms were found.
Your search - blabedyblah - did not match any documents.
Did you mean: blahdiblah ?
Are you sure it was a blahdiblah?
It's called a channel bank. T1 interface in, 24 FXS (or FXO) out.
Well? What is it?
Sure.
Asterisk is to GNU/Bayonne as the Linux kernel is to GNU/Hurd.
*sigh*

The Digium cards are crap
Care to elaborate?
Sure.
