You're not supposed to entertain people. You're supposed to keep them from dying. Anything you do or that they see should be intrinsically motivating for them. This is why they love super boring shit like seeing violence and having sex. If they're bored give them a dildo. All a tablet is going to do is frustrate them.
Am I saying you're a bad person if you use devices to entertain yourself? Yes, I am. I am straight up judging you and finding you lacking if, after hundreds of thousands of years of non-screen-based entertainment, you suddenly are too weak and useless to exist without a tiny TV. You're a disgrace to our species.

if all guns were gone tomorrow, loonies would still kill people.

So, where do you draw the line in regards to things that are lethal weaponry? What is the purpose of a gun? They were designed to kill living things. Why stop at allowing people to carry guns? Why don't we allow people to carry grenades? Or RPGs?

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

What are 'arms'? Isn't a SAM 'arms'? Why can't people carry them around? Oh yeah, because they can inflict mass casualties, that's why. So why doesn't at least a multi-fire assault rifle fit this definition, because it sure looks to me like that's what happened here.

OR are you just using this incident to disguise a personal predisposition for Jew-hating?

We need to stop conflating not wanting the US to be Israel's bitch with Jew-hating. They are not the same thing. Maybe if we (the US) started making our commitment to their security contingent upon them making peace, they might start moving in that direction. Right now they act like they can do whatever they want, and we will still back them no matter what. This is actually the case, and it doesn't make sense.

BTW, all forms of racism are born of ignorance, so don't think that I'm Jew hating. The world would be a lot worse off if we didn't have them contributing to our collective well being. I just want a rational US policy when it comes to Israel.
