So when you click on the link here, the text that says "Resolution: 1920x1080" is a lie? Or perhaps when I go to Samsung's website and click here and it says "HD-grade 1920(H) x 1080(V) pixel resolution", it that also a lie?
I ask because I'm in the market for a 1080p television... and I thought I could take these companies at their word.
Does that mean with a uid as low as mine, I can tell you to get lost troll?
Looks good... but where's the Windows support?

Lindows 2.0.0 Released

I have to admit, the screenshots look pretty good, but I don't see any Windows support.
It seems to be that if this is supposed to be a merged environment, they would do better to shop MS Office running rather than StarOffice.
For the current time being, Lindows seems to be just YALD (Yet Another Linux Distribution).
Now that you have been part of a large semi-organized warez ring, what would you say could be done to prevent warez in the future? (Cheaper prices? Better protection? Subscriptions?)
Just get the right kind of heat sync...

If you didn't want to go with water-cooling, (such as ripping apart a koolance 1U case), you could instead just go with a convection-cooled style case similar to the Mac cube (iCube?).
Plycon sells a nice assortment of different heat-syncs, the one you would be particularly insterested in is this one, it's designed to use a moving air current to cool the CPU rather than a direct fan. If your using a slower or underclocked CPU, it probably won't take very much to keep it cool.
Your biggest problem will most likely be finding room for a large enough heat-sync that doesn't require a fan of some sort.
This isn't anything that someone else hasn't said, but I figure if I put it up here, it will make the point that much more clear.
Any game that comes out should be released with both the Windows and Linux version together. Not only with this help make up for the supposed money lost, but it will make me feel much safer with my purchase. Ok, if it I can't get it to work with Linux, at least I can reboot and play it with Windows.
Plus, there are many times when I just don't want to go through the hassle of rebooting my machine just to play a game. (Which means that the saves from the game should be compatible with both versions of the games).
If I had $100 billion dollars and it only cost me 1.2 billion to put a huge fibre ring around a continent, I would be all over that. Do you know how much money that would pay back once different ISPs started bidding for chunks of it. Man... anyone want to lend a few billion? =)
Perhaps I should have expressed myself more clearly. It's stated that the ring was done with a mere 1.2 billion. To somebody like Gates, that's practically like a drop in the bucket. So what would stop him from laying a few of those FireRings around other places. MS could then sell off chunks of it to ISP as long as they Support Windows Only. Heck they could even be as evil as forcing a windows-type client to connect. The potential behind something that large for a mere 1.2 billion kind of set me back so I though I would mention it in the "Comments" section. "Turn your computer into a gameboy... type win at the C:>"
As much as one would hope to think otherwise, I think that this is a large blow to Open Source as whole. Bill Gates must be jumping with glee. It's sad to see something a hopefull as Mozilla suddenly get a black mark like this. In regard to JWZ, I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes. I don't think the Internet could have gotten quite as far as it has without him.
