absurdity is what makes this World so enchanting.
Its so nice to see that people still think that using computer
takes some brains. or for those who can't think,
THEY USE WINDOWS!!!
I'm still trying to figure out why people still use or pay for a word processor?!
Seems silly to actually buy a suite for over 400 bucks USD.
I love OpenOffice on the Windows side, and it runs on Windows 95 machines flawlessly.
about time they figured out that people actually use Linux. they have Unix ports of their stuff like Coldfusion so why not make everything cross-platform.
this is something Adobe should start doing.
most ISPs run some form of Unix/Linux and the why would you spend a zillion dollars paying for an inferior piece of software when you can get a proven quality piece of software for free?
should draw the line. printing the images in a magazine is one thing but having it reproduced in cdrom form is different and NG should have it stated in their agreement with the photographers.
do we smell a Microsoft-backed study here?!
closing off software is bad, opening it up brings out new ideas and new innovations.
its like hoarding the code to some software and making people upgrade to it without having the option or freedom to choose what they want....
Hey, isnt that what Microsoft does?
it would be great if somebody made a Windows like OS to rival Microsoft. there are plenty of smart programmers out there that could make some type of Intel based OS that could run Windows apps. and not be bloated.
It would be nice to actually use an appliance that does not send me messages or have access to the Internet. and do what its suppose to do, MAKE TOAST!
Seems Microsoft has way too much time on it's hands to think this crap up.
Maybe they should concentrate on making something useful. like an OPERATING SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, and thought Microsoft was the most "unfocused" company in the world.
If Sun would make things cheaper and easier for people to buy or use their products then everyone would be:
1. Running Solaris
2. Java would be a standard
3. Schools would be using Sun boxes instead of Dells
4. need we go on?
And explain the departures of the top execs in the last year or so?
McNealy can only bash Microsoft for so long before it gets old. Maybe he should use that energy to produce a profitable company and stop blaming others...

uh, yeah. maybe they should ask Microsoft why they cant get after 3 or 4 times? write quality software that is...

what else is new? companies innovate, microsoft takes credit for their success.

what a bunch of fucking idiots.
nice size but for 79 bucks you can get a refurbed Palm. 200 bones is way too much and its graaaay- scale
man, I should have been one of the unlucky ones who actually uses Windows then I could get some money out of the deal.
"jack of all trades" - Master of NONE
