He was wearing a bronze ring.. I think it makes more sense to have the device in a ring instead of the cylindrical randomness that was in the TV Show. Its definitely better than I thought it would be.

It sends shivers down my spine... it sounds like M$ has successfully created zombie race of half-humans who'll eventually infect the rest of humanity with their incidious robotic semen.

The Nazis under Hitler actually helped the German economy. It seems the only problem with his ideas were his govermental takeover, his attempt to make Europe==Deutschland and the slaughter of millions of people. Not to mention the loss of freedoms, etc. It just comes back to this one fact: money isn't everything, and we'd probably be better if we were without it. The unfortunate fact is that no one's honest enough to have a better system.

The problem with that is that MTV doesn't play music videos at reasonable times any more... They expect you to pay extra to get digital cable so you can see MTV2. Fat chance, pay extra for their processed shit.. I much prefer giFT running with OpenFT, Gnutella and FastTrack and then using google to find new music.. not the most efficient but at least I actually get to hear some good music. Another good place is ZED on the CBC (A Public Canadian Channel) they have good bands and great short films. Anything that comes out of corprate America tends to be shit.

The above's only for people w/ Windows BTW. It doesn't seem like it'd be to hard to port Linux or at least get it working on WINE, especally if Apple helped.

  13. Re:Is it for me? on Windows iTunes Sells A Million Songs In 3.5 Days · · Score: 1

Everyone's complaining how you can't use iTunes Music Service without an iPod but it's not true. Just burn to an audio CD and use it on any CD Player. And if you want to use music on an other mp3 player just rip the CD back onto the computer in any format you want.

  14. Wha... on Supreme Court Will Hear Pledge of Allegiance Case · · Score: 1
At my high school all the students tend either to be too much of one of three things to say the pledge:

    2)Too High
    3)Too Tired

Most just tend to ignore the pledge.

  15. Indian Constitution on India Blocks Yahoo Groups Over Political Content · · Score: 2, Informative
A quick google search for the Indian Constitution led me to this site Here (It's not the first one in google so don't feel lucky)

This type of behavior would appear to be blocked by the lines: "LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship," "Right to Freedom," and " Cultural and Educational Right."

Although, the line: "To uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India," would appear to allow them to silence any opposition to their government.

Just some food for thought from a first time poster.
