is it just me or does this seem really sick? now i've never been very religious or anything, but you would think that prayer has to have some meaning. from what i've heard people (who are very religious) say, you have to actually *feel* something in order to believe that any effect is possible. if you just mass market this 'prayer study' thing, and send out emails to random people who have never even met the people they are praying for, of course it's not going to do any good, because nobody really cares! science is wonderful, but it doesn't mix well with religion.
some american stuff is gross, like budweiser, and natty ice, etc. however things brewed locally from city to city aren't usually half bad. in cleveland, it's Great Lakes. it's semi-fresh and not mass produced so it has better quality.
i think it's just about living your life as happily as possible. you know, whatever feels right. if you don't want to do "risky" things then hey, good for you! but if yo do, so what? everyone is entitled to live a little. just trust you instincts, go with the flow...just be happy and smile!
(noo...i don't smoke pot or anything like that...of *course* not)
agreed, i think part of the problem with school is that the teachers get so damn bored with teaching the same thing over and over again that they have no more enthusiasm for teaching, and they don't make the kids want to learn. none of my teachers have ever bothered to make things the slightest bit interesting. good thing i found my way into the real world! heh.
