    Actually, the ability to create an alternate internet is something i was thinking about several years ago, all it involved was going into netscape and setting your proxy settings to use a special server to act as your name server, all google would have to do is modify the google toolbar to modify the browser to use googles nameserver

    google got into trouble with copyright infringement once with their trying to copy all the books in libraries, i can see them being sued by hundreds of companies who will say that the code for linux uses some similar algorithm to something they have patented and everyone has forgotten about. think SUSE Linux for the template for whats going to happen

    rainwater should be neutral as it is distilled water, how can water be 100 times as acidic as neutral?

    from what youve said, if light travels from a more dense to a less dense material it gets bent opposite from normal, meaning if i shine light into a clear lightbulb, it will unfocus the light due to the round bulbcontaining a vacuum acting as a negative lens

    The masters of turning books into movies would be either Steven King or Michael Crichton King has done more movie adaptations and could work well on the psychological aspects of the story, but Crichton would do well on the military and sci-fi areas of the story, or better yet get all 3 of them involved

    the gene only lowers intelligence. there are dozens of genetic abnormalities that cause impaired intellegence. this is nothing that new. when they find a gene that causes above average intellegence, now that would be a great thing

    2H20 + C -> CO2 + H2 2H2O + 2C -> 2CO +H2 so in a world of incomplete reactions the result of heating Carbon with water leads to a mixture of carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide and hydrogen. carbon monoxide has bad effects on the hydrogen fuel cells, which leads to it having to be removed from the hydrogen, luckily there have been catalysts found to combine it with water to make carcon dioxide and hydrogen. this organism thrives on a combination of CO2 C0 H2O and H2 which are the end products of coal to hydrogen conversion.

    they were making hydrogen for use in homes for dacades and decades, it was called (water gas) or nowadays (syngas) the reaction is C + H2O -> H2 + C0 -> C0 + H2O -> H2 + CO2 so the input is 1 atom of carbon added to 2 water molecules leads to 2 H2 and 1 CO2 the reaction was hugely used in gaslights because of the hotter hydrogen flame
