  1. Whats the problem with this? on US Attorney General Questions Habeas Corpus · · Score: 1, Troll

For 70 plus years, the liberal swine in this country have also argued that the 2nd amendment is not an individual right, but a collective one. Why should anyone get bunged over the same thinking being applied to Habeus Corpus? I mean, you really wouldn't get upset over having to go to your local politician to get a permit to buy a book, would you?

It is just a theory, no matter how often that theory is reported as fact by the mass media, it is still, in the end, just a theory. Or, have we decided that facts and data do not matter any more, and that we need to follow our feelings on the matter?

Not salt water, they have nothign to do with the oceans ecosystem. I guess they just pulled protozoa form the air to get us whipped into a frenzy about. Did Jason Blair write this article?

  8. Re:Too funny. on Melting Europa · · Score: 0

Yup, here in my sleepy little town (Elmira, NY), they have a weekly vigil against george bush in the town square. They all arrive seperately in their SUV's, carrying signs stating "No Blood for oil", they spend their 15 minutes waving their signs, then they troop back to their own cars, each one getting in and driving away. At least they are good for a laugh.

  9. Too funny. on Melting Europa · · Score: 1, Insightful

The people who frequent slashdot and rail bitterly over drilling for oil or the like. Do you guys know how much oil (let alone the tons of water) to build a single computer? Hypocracy. But I bet you feel good about yourself as whine and complain about how awful oil drilling/bush/whatever, while posting it on the internet.
