"He has posted something similar about 437 times, and no two are exactly the same. It is the snowflake of trolls." Lad, This comment seems to indicate a bit of obsessive behavior on your part. Put down the mouse. Move away from the keyboard. Go outside and enjoy the day.

I don't really think a tablet is a big item at Apple right now. The tablet PC has not been a big seller so Apple concentrates on those apps and hardware that will help them build marketshare. If they do decide to enter that market I'm pretty sure they will show it to developers before it goes public. As far as Kahney's article goes. He's like so many others. They prognosticate and then blame Apple for not meeting their desires. He's similar to Thurott and Dvorak. They are not to be taken seriously.

This is the same guy who said Microsoft invented FireWire. When corrected he would not publish a correction. Given that and the comments of this "article," I think all he's really doing is showing his lack of journalistic ability and losing credibility with all computer users. Finally, if that's the best PC Magazine can do for an editor in chief then don't waste your time with the magazine or their online forums.

That's hilarious. If someone can now tell me MS doesn't copy Apple I'll just show them this video. BTW, when it comes to Apple and Linux, especially Apple, Thurrot is a dim bulb right up there with Dvorak. Bill Gates is the Andrew Carnegie of our times

The guy you were thinking about was Lance Ulanov. I emailed him and he told me the original article was supposed to be a humor piece. An asshole.
