    I mean, unless they hook the DVD player up to a computer instead of a TV and record it. Man, I hope they thought of that! I'd hate to think hollywood was making less money.

    Totally agree.

    Al Gore is not the messanger you want - he polarizes America nearly as much as W. You'll never get a large population to listen to "Bleeding Heart Democrat Commie Al Gore" say anything, even if he spoke like Nick Naylor. Now, couple that with with the fact that he's about as engaging as a coma patient, and you're in trouble.

    Can't Tom Hanks or Robin Williams or some other person "general America" adores get on this? I bet K-fed has time on his hands.

    I have to agree with E1ven.

    Bowing out of the desktop biz to focus on enterprise will kill you.

    Microsoft will develop their desktop OS (as they are now) to provide several "must have" options when you combine their desktop and server products. I think you're underestimating the appeal of the "homogeneous environment."
