  1. Re:HTML is not for web apps... on Mozilla, Opera Form Group to Develop Web App Specs · · Score: 2, Interesting

As a developer you should explain to the client the advantages and disadvantages of other approaches, and mention the fact that googlebot cant see the infoformation in this form or that, and that means lower pagerank etc... and that for 10% of people they will not beable to see the site etc... After all, you are the expert, sometimes you really have to spell it out to them.

In England the coast guard are volentary so sacking them is kinda a bad idea. Plus the windows machines where non critical, they used to maps before computers, and they use maps when there computers break down.

If ads didnt work then they really wouldnt bother to make them, I know for a fact that i will support a good ad by buying the product (although i stopped watching tv about a year ago so this isnt true anymore) As for TV sending you too sleep i use this as one of the only ways i can get to sleep these days, without a program to watch it can take hours(or i end up playing counter strike all night) but if i stick on a dvd and i'm off to sleep in a few minutes, it can take me weeks to watch a film all the way through :)

If you listen out there is tons of great music out there, its just you wont find it on mtv or the radio anymore (or ever) you have to troll through www.allmusic.com and look at other peoples music on soulseek (www.slsknet.com) I refuse to buy cds at the prices they charge, if i did i would have to spend a few hundred bucks (CD's here can cost 16 ($30)) a week to keep up with what i download and legal sites like wippit.com don't have any music that I like. (In fact in the promo section I found one good track for free, but they didnt have the rest of the album :() I would love to pay (monthly subscription) for quick legal downloads where the musician gets a fair share of the money but these dont exist (especcially in the UK). The places that do exist are inferior in almost every way compared with the free alternatives. Less choice being the greatest of these (in music and format). They never have the lastest stuff and never have the obsure stuff that i listen to. Soulseek has all this for free and in less than 5 minutes i could download a song.
