Sometimes it is good to sell when a good reasonable offer like this comes around, but other times its worth the long haul.
I think that SUSE made the right decision whether they know it or not.
I can't help but feel that the german government owning shares of a company like SUSE seems to be a conflict of interest. I don't believe that government should be able should own any controlling amount of stock of a company they could make or brake. (ie: cities in germany switching to linux over MS)
I swear if amazon keeps up with this type of crap, they are gonna a) hire that former BT engineer who invented hyperlinks b) patent selling things onlines under the auspices that it requires the use of the IP c) get sued by SCO cause their one touch check out uses their unix source code.
I for one welcome our new patent daemons, and their new patents.
Cons:
Pricey
CD burning only works with more expensive audio CD-Rs, not data CD-Rs
I figure for that wad of cash it should be able to burn a cd onto small paper plate.
"Cintron and Langdoc were especially concerned that sensors used to monitor the space station's air supply for dangerous trace elements is currently broken."
Of all things that could possibly be broken this one is in the top 5 of suck. Murphys Law at its best.
There was a leak earlier this year apparently and here is a review. Review here at http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/longhorn_alpha .asp

History has shown us, everything can run linux.
I just think that it should mix some drinks for you or something at that cost. Margaritas anyone?
