there's actually a webcam pointed at the sun... i'ts updated every 4 hours and can be found here.
According to Space.com: The image is generated by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) spacecraft, which sits partway between Earth and the Sun.
we've been monitoring since the 1970's... I would like to think the measurements in the 70s were accurate, but you never know... here's an interesting page with pictures and a graph of the solar cycle...
actually, kinda... it's the sound of a deep bass, which the human ear can't hear... they found out because they noticed it shifted planets and stars along it's wave... check it out here: space.com
we probably won't find anything too groundbreaking, but there's always new pictures and small findings that can lead to new theories and such that will be interesting to anybody who likes astronomy... for example, they recently found out that black holes create sound...
unless we have the foresight to cram more than one CD/DVD drive into our computer cases. I already have a DVD and CD-RW drive... both can read CDs... We're still stuck with shuffling discs for our mega-epic multiple disc gamesI haven't had that problem either...
they also haven't caught on because there really isn't any room for them... the architecture of a computer case is designed pretty specificially, and getting a CD changer in there isn't too easy, unless your going to add reading heads, which would cost more... then you would need a more powerful motor because you want to spin all of them at the same time, then you want to take them out and put different ones in? all in one bay?
what if i turn somebody that just recently cleared their HD of everything, and say that they hid themselves really well and didn't use their own computer to spread the worms...
I think it's just a matter of time really... sure, for now the voIP system costs alot, but eventually it will probably come down in price, and will probably start to beat out (especially in long-distance calls) some of the telephone companies...
that probably won't be for a while though, and they'll probably see hard times before that happens, but if they stick through it and improve the technology, I think voIP definately has an edge...
you might have said the same thing, but do you sell operating systems to millions/billions of people/businesses?
I dont' think this was biased at all. He's the figurehead of a huge corporation, of course what he says is going to be in the news.
from some of the other posts, it seems like it's not likely in the near future...
I don't mind if they start trading publicly (as long as they keep 51% of stock, they still make all the decisions), but if they merge with M$, I'm going to have to go with a different search engine...
i would say give as much as possible, but not too much, because if your business starts slipping, next year there may be no christmas bonus... i would say what was said before:
bonus=((income-expenses)/2)/employee_count;
