I refuse to buy an X-Box until someone can prove to me on facts that buying an X-Box and pirating X-Box games will cause MS to lose money.
I don't understand your statement. if you buy an xbox and then pirate games, I can garauntee you MS will lose money. they lose money on the systems still, I beleive and without any game revenue from your pirated games, well they certainly wouldn't be making money! That said, I quite enjoy the progressive scan image my gamecube has as well as the xbox HD capabilities. I wont pay the mountain of cash my cable company wants for HD programming so games and DVDs are all I ever watch on my set (a comparably modest 42" toshiba)
I ripped the CD using iTunes on my mac into 160 KBPS Mp3 files, which I then burned to a CD containing the collected works of Guns N Roses and Stone Temple Pilots (the bands who's members make up Velvet Revolver) and have been listening to the backup in my car for over a week.
I saw the copy protection thing on the sleeve, but iTunes didn't offer any resistance to importing the files.
I've sold Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular at various jobs and its rare that anyone is ever coming in to the store satisfied with the service and looking to continue their contract or upgrade. WLNP should be putting the spurs to the wireless companies by now, but I haven't seen any evidence of any company stepping anythig up. I'm currently a Sprint customer and don't have anything bad to say about them right now, but I know damn well that if I did I might be on hold for 10 minutes before talking to an unreceptive operator.
I've been doing this for over a year linking GB Players and Four Swords.
though we'll have to resort to using at least 2 GBAs when we getting the cube version of Four Swords... unless friends start ponying up more hardware for game night, which is entirely likely.
I've played and beat probably close to 50 people in various WI game tournaments for Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
I always see prizes and big contests for FPS, but I've won little more than I've put in if you added up the value of the prizes.
Professional gaming will come of age as soon as its more than just PC deathmatch games getting big prizes.
