    Given the numbers of attack vectors in data centers from social engineering to software to hardware faults, would you trust your company's IT data system ONLY to "cloud suppliers?"

    Something like 2/3rds of small businesses that lose their digital data go out of business within 6 months, so it is a real risk issue to not have a totally local backup data system that can be brought up within a day.

    Do you totally trust big cloud data centers?

    Apple is pushing the envelope: Free OS updates. Works on their hardware back 4-5 years.

    Or at least a stock purchase must be held for at least 4 days and then any gains are 100% taxed if sold in under 4 months.

    This stops flipping and incentive to do short term ordinary income gains. Stocks after all are about long term investment.

    I know, I know, the BIG trading houses and HFT & DARK POOL guys would absolutely go on insane rants, but what we want is a "CAPITAL MARKET", not really a trading market.

    HP always made the best far back, like the HP-35, 45, 41cx and then PCs of high quality.

    Now HP apparently seeks to blend in with the masses of the cheapest laptop designs on the Asian continent.

    Who is going to match Apple for top-of-the-line laptops, which a professional can use for 5-6 years before replacement?

    But Adobe promised me if I upgraded on a special price from CS5 to CC, I'ld be able to use CC anytime and only be required to check in once-in-awhile and have lots of time after my subscription ran out to pay up or get all my files converted and back, etc. etc.

    All it takes is copies of prior inventors work & videos that show someone else showed the idea first & filed with the patent office and then any later patent application/s are deemed unpatentable.

    We haven't had a "large dump" on California since 1969! 2+ years of a lack of sunspots brought the US a very hard winter.

    The Eastern Pacific bulge of hot water on the equator looks like it might spawn another "Pineapple Express".

    Some geophysists say the sediment record shows that a mega-dump like occurred in 1862 in CA & OR could dump 11 feet of water on CA in about a month.

    Will that be "climate change", given that it happens every 40 or 160 years on known cycles?

    Anyone can make a battery, and indeed a good or great battery.

    But do you own or have a license to ALL the technology and then the new technology just announced in Japan last week?

    Without the IP, becoming a battery maker is super risky.
