I was so excited to give this distro a try, but what a nightmare it turned into. I ran the install an choose to install on a empty partition. Corel said that it would automatically take care of partition space for the root and swap. The install went fine, I rebooted and the sys hung. Thinking that the active partition might not have been set, I went to fdisk and to my surprise I found 2 active partitions on my hard drive (weird). I set it to Corel's partition and rebooted. I was going to nowheres' vill fast. The sys hung once again. I got fed up deleted the partitions and decided to reload redhat on my sys. When I got to disk druid it would not allow me to create any partitions. It said that I did not have enough space, even though it was reporting 2Gigs free (weird). Thinking that there must be an invisible partition hogging the space I booted up the old PQ-Magic and to my stunning surprise I was informed that I had an invalid partition table. Oh goody, time to wip out the old norton diskedit. I thought Corel was supposed to be an easy install. I don't know about you but I think I'll stick to my old distro.
Like above any postscript printer is a sure bet, but they don't come cheap. I personally have an Epson Stylus 800 and it works great. Most linux distros have the proper filters for this printer and support up to 1400 X 720 dpi for it. Not to mention it's pretty cheep, about $300 CDN.
I've got REDHAT 6 with the 2.2.5-15 kernal. I have IP MASQ running on it and everything works fine. Quake 1,2,3 and ICQ all work fine. The problem i get is on the client machiens running bulletproof ftp on win 98. The fire wall setting for bulletproof is set to pasive. I can connect no probs and download too, but as soon as i try to upload it's a no go. I get to about 12k on the file and it doesn't alow any more to be uploaded. I tried the no firewall option but the same happens. But if i dial in with the client computer to my isp directly the upload works fine. Does anyone have an idea as to what the prob is. Thanx
Are they just not supporting the customers with help if their VPN does not work, or are they blocking VPN connections ala packet filtering?
But what about the actual apps for OS X, are they going to work on the x86 arch, or will they have to be ported.
You forgot about optical media, Cd, Worm, Paper even.

Does anyone know of any links that have info or sell Dvroak Keyboards for PCs. Also does Linux support these keyboards?
