    Among other revealations during this ordeal, one thing stands out - I now know how morally bankrupt main stream media have become, irrespective of how right or wrong assange is.

    Guardian won awards for all the work done by wikileaks/manning, and now they just backstabbed them, and still have guts to defend their own actions.

    NYT is even worse.

    Whisleblowing investigative journalism is dead, sold out to big governments and corporations.

    So wait - Motoroal who invented something which is integral part of a mobile phone should not ask for any return on that from Apple and Apple should use such core technology for free, but Apple can charge anybody for rectangles and others should bend over and pay them???

    And also, Apple's lawyers do all this without Apple's wish?

    Taco has been driving this old Jeep Wrangler for quite a while with bunch of other drivers, having built most of the engine and shit themselves - he is kind of the chief mechanic. It's not the fastest vehicle out there, but it keeps going, be it snow, thunderstorm or sunshine, while the shiny new toy cars appear and disappear on the internet highway.

    Now he is dropping out after taking the car from nowhere to somewhere and is saying "See you, bitches!!".

    Right on! Recently, I completely ran out of really good sci-fi, after trying some of the most popular ones I had not yet read (and got mostly disappointed). So I turned to Hogo nominations of past few years (and other not too popular nukes of the internet to look for something different to read).

    I ended up adding about 10-12 Kindle samples and also ordered about 4-5 books not available in e format.

    Finished "Old Man's War" (John Scalzi) last week. Also, just finished The Bug by Ellen Ulmann : ISBN 1400032350).

    I am set for next two months of sampling/reading some good sci-fi after a long time.
