In one of my film papers at college we were shown a brilliant short film that featured a man attempting to communicate with a surveillance camera in Sydney protruding from a giant, blank concrete wall. He would stand in front of the camera for hours each day holding up a sign prompting the camera to swivel from side to side to acknowledge his presence. After a few days, it did.
Stories such as these are incredibly worrying to me as a journalist and as a citizen who partakes in news constantly. If people can't properly research something that is already incredibly well documented and reasonably simple, I'm wondering how utterly smegged (to use a BBC coined term) their coverage of the various complex political situations occuring worldwide.
I'm sorry, but my urge to grab the first post overrode all commonsense and I embaressed myself publically. In other news, uh, it was my friend, I swear.
People have decided that what they are doing is not criminal, despite it being "illegal". They are of the mindset that there is nothing wrong with what they are doing, thus making the laws surrounding it irrelevant.
Strangely enough, the Mars was the code name for the Nomad before it actually came out. The Nomad didn't even exist to me as anything but a prototype portable Megadrive, it was never even thought to be a possibility to purchase because I already had a Megadrive, why do I need a portable one?
You sound really upset about this, perhaps you should re-examine your priorities in life. Personally, I'd never seen it before and I'm glad that I did.

It's also reminiscent of the Megadrive/Genesis "Mars" portable system. At least Sony has the cash to put behind such a product, unlike Sega did.
