    Are there any other OS vulnerable to drive-by downloads? Funny how they rarely mention which OS are affected.

    I'm guessing Mac OS X and Linux are both better protected since the OS can't initiate a program installation and then run it without the user permission.

    The prototype uses a laser to display bright, high-contrast, full-color images on a screen that would be mounted above the dashboard so drivers don't have to take their eyes fully off the road in order to receive driving instructions from their robot overlords.

    About two weeks ago I installed Netflix on a PS3, directly from the "app store" or whatever Sony calls it. Small download, installed it, logged into my Netflix.ca account and watched a few minutes of some movies to check out the quality.

    For the Wii, however, it still requires a disc.

    Funny how people blast Wii gamers because it's not as "shiny 3d" as the Xbox360 or the PS3, but when the topic switches to 3D movies the Wii gamers are suddenly right, i.e. the content is more important than the presentation.
