For any Gentoo user running the latest and greatest (Accept ~X86), doing an emerge-sync and "Emerge -U world" is no small task. It requires a few Hail Mary's and a human sacrafice to have a working system afterward. Users running the stable builds shouldn't have a problem though.
I have personally blown up my Gentoo installation seven times, and each time I learn more about the inner workings of linux.

Anyone remember when Sigma released an MPEG4 encoder that was 90% of XVID's code? It took a month to straighten out and ended with Sigma GPL'ing their encoder.
I am of the opinion that he should do just the opposite. Linus should have a sit-down with IBM's lawyers. In a bar fight, it is often wise to get behind the biggest MF you see, and let them clar the path to the door. IBM's lawyers are bad MF's, and it's good to have them on our side at the moment. Perhaps we should send them a fruit basket.
Cause we all know that Linux won't run on PPC and an ATI graphics card (sarcasm!!).
Since the XBox Next does not feature and HDD, then why bother? Granted, hooking a HDD up to the modded USB2.5 ports shouldn't be that hard after getting the specs from SIS.

So instead of them making billions and billions and billions of dollars, they must now settle for billions and billions of dollars!
Poor TV people.
