    Because people don't buy a new car every year, and cars don't just magically go away after the first year. There are cars on the road that are 10+ years old that are still being resold. A new car can only be bought new once. A used car can be bought and sold multiple times.

    It's fucking EASY to sell more used cars than new ones. It's like you people are willfully fucking stupid.

    Basically, affordable 5 - 10 years later when it's good and used. It's no shock that Elon's idea of affordable is anything but. It's the complete disconnect rich people have with the rest of the world showing itself.

    I think the point being made here is that no separation is made between the kernel and Linux as a complete operating system. The kernel plays a role in the success of Linux, but it's not the sole reason for it's success. It's all the tools and software that make up the operating system which made it successful. Without those it would just be a car engine with no car built around it to make it useful.

    I'm not worried about this. The internet has a built in failsafe against corporate greed when it comes to media. When the price becomes unreasonable, or the media becomes hard to access a large number of people will return to piracy instead of paying.

    It's been shown that if the price is fair and it's convenient to get the content that people will pay. If they forget this, those same people will remind them.

    Android wear supports syncing with your phone over wifi. In addition, android wear devices will still display the date and time even when out of range of the phone and not connected to anything. It would be nice if people would at least learn the basics of things before they started talking about them.

  25. Trump doesn't need to steer foreign trade policy. He's already one of the richest men in America, and even if every business he owned failed tomorrow, he'd still be set for life. I'm still not seeing the return on the effort and money spent here that makes you think he's doing it for his own monetary gain. I'm not even convinced it has anything to do with monetary gain.
