    yes, there is. many large asteroids have hit the moon and mars and deposited useful and rare minerals on them. The only danger in the long term is overmining, which could be disasterous.

    As long as it is not exacltly the same news on other sites (like Google), I would be willing to give it a try. I find too much recycled news on the internet these days, and it would be nice to have something new. Of course, if it is the same news over and over again (or blatently Microsoft propeganda), then it isnt worth the bother.

    The Hot Zone was a good book that was very good with descriptions. Knowing the descriptions from the book, I know I would rather be immunized against it than actually aquiring the virus. You never know when another outbreak will occur...

    That specific robot uses Bluetooth, however it could probably use just about anything.

    Actually, there is a perovskite that is a superconductor at 125 Kelvin. Perovskites are crystal structures that are considered "high-temperature superconductors." My conversion may be a little off, but I believe that 125 Kelvin is about -1 Ferignheight (spelling may be off too).

    I think the point is that AMD will stop making them, if not other companies as well. AMD is essentially saying that they are kicking off the phase-out. These things are always slow to happen and dates set by seemingly anyone in the computer business are almost always wrong anyway.

    Well, it has been true in a sense. Our common processors today are faster than those of 15 years ago, but that isnt saying much in and of itself. The change happens, but usually slower than expected.

    I believe it was low compared to what was predicted for them, but high in comparison to what is out there, but I could be wrong.

    That is interresting and I did not know that. The cube was, like I said, a very good machine and I find it odd that it is selling cheaper, now that they arent being made anymore.

    My guess is it will be like the early unmaned survalience aircraft: confusing to run and hard to control at first, but after a few years they get it down pat.

    Maybe it is because I am currently listening to "They're Everywhere" and am a little paranoid because of it, but that could be used to remotely place bugs or be used for illegal survalience by the FBI or intelligence agencies anywhere, couldn't it?

    I think that it means an attition to string theory, or at least a modification. This is why Quantum Physics textbooks give URLs for specific details, it is always changing.

    I believe that the initiative has started up again, at least in Germany. They are building a straigt accelerator, which in and of itself is unheard of. I believe that that lab will be the most advanced in the world and is expected to bring multitudes of new discoveries and, one scientist claims, possibly an answer to effecient, clean fusion.

    It was verified by the Fermi National Partical Accelerator Lab.
    Its discovery was recently confirmed by researchers at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Illinois, US, home of the Tevatron, the world's largest atom smasher. It was the US outfit that gave X(3872) its mystery tag.
