  1. sometimes you CAN skip the crap: on MPAA Sued Over DVD Screener Ban · · Score: 5, Informative

When I first got my DVD player I found that if you try to "skip" to the next "chapter" it doesn't work; you have to watch the commercials.

But if you hit "stop" and then "play" without powering off, it goes right to the movie. :)

Some people have two emails; one is called a "spam farm" (I think). This email address is what you put on any form or webpage that requires it to get stuff done.

The other you give to friends etc. If your spam account overflows, who cares? You didn't give that address to anyone important.

I'm sorry; if you don't think "professional gamers" is an oxymoron, maybe you better wait till your nuts drop before considering whether those years of "experience" are worth a anything.

Of course the porn industry, consisting of porn companies, must have a lobby or other advocate. I assumed he considered a porn company a business rather than an individual.

You're right that stock values do not REALLY equal economic recovery, but if the bottom line makes investors buy more, and ulimately there is a trend where more stocks go up, what does that mean? A lot of people see that and say hey, the storm's over.

It's still a recovery. When companies can hire & fire at will they can grow & contract with the market. That improves their botto line, and therefore their stock values, which equals economic recovery. :) In ten years, we'll all be working for a few months then not working for a few months, so learn to save your earnings for the downtime.
