Well lets see...how about a working network front end?
So, previously I clicked the network tray icon and opened up a dialog to connect to a wireless network.
How about a simple fucking "find drivers" button, like Windows has had for a damned decade now?
I opened up "Additional drivers" (also known as restricted-drivers and restricted-manager).
Try something a little newer though, like Realteck HD Audio, The later Intel/AMD/Nvidia chips, Sigma sound Realtek Ethernet...those don't survive upgrades.
Work fine for me.
Hell try it yourself. Download any distro from 2006, that will be the same as if you had 5 years of support. Now upgrade to the current version and see what happens
I went from Kubuntu Hardy to Kubuntu Natty, didn't have magical problems on the machine that had such hardware (didn't have an earlier version because I didn't acquire that particular hardware until 08). I do have other machines though where I went from Kubuntu Dapper to Kubuntu Lucid, the worst issue I had in one of the upgrade was some init.d files were not updated, but that didn't mean any sort of failure, just the start up would not be faster for the specific daemons due to having legacy init.d files. Not really a deal breaker.
Tell you what, if you think Linux is ready remove your shell.
Honestly, I think you're fishing for issues at this point.
if you are dumb enough to turn on a GPS jammer powerful enough to knock out a plane's GPS navigation during a time of conflict, you pretty much deserve the missile that is going to fly up your arse a few minutes later. Jamming is done by blasting a very powerful signal out into the air. A very powerful signal is trivial to track.
Actually, a powerful signal can be very difficult to triangulate, a 'very strong' signal would mean you have a very wide area where it could be coming from, not so trivial compared to a weak signal, where you can just rely on signal strength from a single unidirectional antenna to figure out the small area of where it's located. To summarise from your example, a missile would think it's right on top of the target when it enters the area because of how powerful the signal is.
You'd need a pretty big bomb to take out the potential area where a 'very strong' signal is coming from and I don't think most nations would look too kindly on the US using such a high calibre weapon.
Don't shut them down during riots, monitor them and arrest those leading the riot.
In the recent London riots, the police complained they couldn't monitor blackberry messenger, which happens to be popular among chavs here. How would your proposal help at all in this situation when it's not possible to just monitor?
People here claim that print paper is obsolete and ugly. So come on go hi-tech until PDF is no longer supported or you lose all your files in an HDD crash. Enjoy!
I might possibly have misinterpreted you and you were merely asking if there was any risk to the warranty but the way it's written, it sure comes across as FUD
If you check the terms of HTC's warranty currently, it doesn't seem forgiving towards unlocked phones.
Another poster pointed out that disrupting the cellular service in totality endangered the lives of citizens by preventing their access to emergency services during times of crisis or public disasters.
Except the emergency call phones were all still operating, so... Not really.
Your assumption is that libpng12 would be exposed in the same way it would be exposed if the library was normally in OpenSuSE which is wrong. You'd need to enter the LSB environment, not OpenSuSE distribution's environment.
Sorry, you don't represent the people, 9% of seats does not speak for all the people.
Jesus, do you just whine all day about nothing?
Make a separate account for Google+ only?
No idea where you got the "NO PROBLEM !" thing from, the aftermath of each of those events went on for quite a while.
Using Kubuntu as an example here.

Also, some evidence.
nVidia actively develop, maintain, support a Linux driver, I would call that giving a hoot, in which case, your prediction was wrong or a lie.
So.. What basic task isn't in the GUI again?
Why doesn't it break for me?

As opposed to stealing a television or a radio to own it?

Now, now... Anyone can be Anonymous, even the CIA. Stop trying to pervert how Anonymous works.
This action regardless of who is behind it, is Anonymous.
Still waiting on this "Second life killer" that was gloated about before it was launched.
Why would I lose all my files in an HDD crash?
I'm platform agnostic, does that mean your God doesn't exist for me?
Firefox changes UI and version releasing to Chrome's methodology.
LOL

Don't forget to let them know that when they're unlocked, they might lose their warranty options.
Mount Olympus.
Except the emergency call phones were all still operating, so... Not really.
They must be pretty stupid if they can't figure out how to use the still working call phones on the trains.
How wouldn't the still working call phones on the trains not work though for the situation? I don't get your point at all for this reason.
Use the call phone on the train instead of your mobile?
Turning off your own systems is a crime!
What about turning it off for safety of civilian reasons?
