having moved to the germany from the states, i was amazed at how the sex to violence content ratio is so backwards. i remember watching a commercial during u.s. prime-time tv shows, and they'd advertise some show where you'd see the lady mauled and everything....and it wasn't a big deal.
i think people are very hard-up about anything regarding violence in this country...

How exactly is this sidestepping state laws? The whole point is that it is being changed in order to comply with the states laws.
