Isn't it simply a case of buying a copy? Don't you get some discounts through your place of work? I know I can get my hands on it for £17 from my work. You should check if there's any schemes in place for you and your employer.
I'm a bit confused why people think the majority of Apple users aren't just normal people who are fed up with windows not working.
I for one don't own any Apple hardware just now except an iPhone 3G and a couple iPods, but the main reason I want to get more apple hardware is because of ease of functionality with those existing items and also because I like the OS X Leopard Operating System.
Nothing to do with the 'brand' or 'image' that supposedly surrounds Apple. All I know them for is for making shit hot products that 'just work'.
I think anyone who slags off people for being 'brand whores' or whatever are just jealous because they can't afford Apple's higher prices for their superior products....oh my god I sound like such a fanboy!:-(
Yeah you've got a good point there, very true. I was just hoping to emphasise the fact that it's a lot more difficult in real life to stand by your beliefs when faced with the consequences of it first hand.

It's people with opinions like this that are holding back the advancement of medical science. I wonder how you'd feel if a relative of yours died, knowing that some treatment could have saved them, had stem cell research been allowed to commence without so much protest.

I bought mine for the looks to be honest. It looks nice and it's easy to use.
It's just a pity the tabbed browser idea wasn't patented.
