    In contrast to many of the other potential outsopurcing candidates, India is a Democracy and HAS Unions and Wage Laws.
    It's simply cheaper. Competition for Jobs is as hard there as it is in the USA, so the extra hours aren't really objected against.

    What good is free Software without the Hardware to go with it? Or the Internet access to seriously get to use it?
    Btw, in any case you rarely find a bought copy of windows in those parts...

    A new medium, thats what.

    Before, there was bacially no possibility to create any animation in the same way you would create improvised theatre. ( which is an art form, by the way... )

    Of course, most of what we see today is still quite rudimentary, if not to say downright crap. But the potential is there.

    Wouldn't a autonomous vehicle be even more prone to fall to ambushes and explosives?
    With manned convoys, the people inside still have the ability to judge their situation, take cover, retaliate, or summon reinforcements.
    An autonomous, non-combat transport would at least have to be equipped with a gun turret ( wether manned or remote-controlled is optional ) to repel any possible fanfatics running around with explosives. ( and there are enough of those.)
    Anyway, I agree 100% : This is but one further step for the USA in its road to total global control. ( If they can retain their domestic control, that is...)
