    Anyway, Congress could force Bush to close Guantanamo any time they want.

    Why would they want to do that? Don't you watch Colbert? Any person who was falsely accused and imprisoned in Guantanamo for all these years now harbor deep hatred for our Land of Freedom(tm) and would join the terrorists immediately upon their release. These animals must be kept behind bars at all costs!

    Are you kidding? I want this technology in my fucking camera phone. Then I can point it at a chick and find out if she's over 18 or not.

    18? That's way too inflexible.

    The phone should have a internationalization feature so that using GPS and an online database it will figure out the age of consent wherever you are, where you're from, and all the relevant laws.

    Wheel of Time? Isn't that like saying that Team Fortress or Counter-Strike have good PvP? What I mean is that PvP usually refers to MMO games with persistent characters, at least in my experience. Has the term changed to include ordinary multiplayer games?

    I've always been confused at how they can say entropy "causes" the arrow of time. I understand how it could conceivably be used to measure the passage (and perhaps direction) of time, but cause it? It seems common sense to me that the increase of entropy occurs because of time, not the other way around.

    Then again, I also have a problem with the entire idea of entropy. Order -> Disorder, ok, but who decides what's "more ordered"? Seems completely subjective to me. How do you figure out if some bit of energy is really "useless", or could conceivably be harnessed for work with sufficiently advanced technology?

    No, I'm merely pointing out that you cannot say you "paid" for a Linux distro when in fact your money went towards supporting some apps which run on said distro. It's just not the same thing. He "paid" for the apps, not the OS. No where was I saying he wasn't generous enough.

    Call me silly, but I "paid" for my copy of Linux. Instead of a licensing fee, I paid some in donations to various projects of utilities I use daily, from Firefox, to OpenOffice, to TrueCrypt, etc.

    And do you also express your appreciation of Wikipedia by donating to the EFF?
