But other times, the innovations are done where they do not matter. Where they are actually needed, you can not find them there. Example: Ghost Recon advance warfare. We have all of this cool physics of running etc. but do I really care to hear my own foot steps or breath. No not really. what i want is to run up that little pile of sand or able to see my crosshair clearly. I want that mule to say "Cannot go there" when I give him command to move though I can hear my other characters telling me 10,000 times of the info that i dont really give a sh|t about including my great job of taking a head shot.
Subjectively speaking, when i asked other GR fans about the experience of online play of Ghost Recon 1 vs. GRAW, more than often I hear about how good and simple GR was and new one (GRAW and GRAW 2) are improved but still old one was more fun despite all its flaws.
Another thing, a lot of people complained that they dont wanna see the gun on the screen like old GR, and still ubi gave them a game with gun in view. Can they not give a in game option for that?
Some people will say that this guy is just crying but let me ask you something. How many player would have been p|ssed if they didnt hear the foot steps, breathing sound or annoying character speaches. Now compare that to how many people did get p|ssed for seeing the gun on the screen(the gun that player holds stays on screen as compare to old GR where you only see the crosshair on screen).
Developers seem to forget that people like to have fun playing game that is innovative. They dont play games to have fun by looking at innovations.
This should have been named as 20 most useless extensions.
except for one or two, all of them are pretty useless or the better extensions are available.
use download them all for downloading in bulk documents etc. from one page.
IE tab and colorful tabs.

Image browser : this is one of the my favorite extension. it allows u to chose a portion in url that increases in a serial. so once you have selected it, all you have to do is just click next button and you will be taken to next page in the series. and it will continue as long as their is a page to show.
Youtube=total suckness
GV = the ultimate entertainment
Now lets hope they bring the GV functionality in youtube and by that i mean easily downable clips with no limit on time and size.
I have seen lots of documentaries on GV and absolutely hate it when a 1 hour documentary is broken into 6 parts.
but some how i feel google intentionally drowned its GV. They never intended to fight the youtube. Have gmail invite, or cellphone to be able to login into GV..........what the hell is that. If you want people to run in then just let them register and upload.
Another downfall of GV was comment system. They should have made it better. I dont wanna read a very narrow column for a comment and i am pretty sure lots of other people feel the same. And those who post the video want to see much more of comments etc. so have a comment section under every single video just like youtube.
Its not much to ask. simply do two things and GV will be ready to kick youtube a$$.
man i am gonna miss watching movies in external player and being able to start them from where ever the hell i want to start.

torrent users gotta realize that if they download something they have to upload that thing to. but only to the ratio of 1:1. no need to make one host a server. if you wanna make a change then start firts by doing only 1:1. Lets face the fact. it is not the person next seat who wont shut up, its not the ads, and its not the loud music or stupid movies that keep us all theatre lovers out of theatres and on the bittorent sites.Its the freaking price tag.
in 1998,ticket cost was $5 and that was fine. And then i saw something saying concession stand. and i ran there for pop corn and coke. that was for 15 bucks. That was not cool.
today if i take my girlfriend for a movie in toronto, it costs me practically one pay day. I can pay same price to do something else. may be a nice dinner or have party with my friends and which is definately more fulfiling.
So screw all theatres. I did not go to movie at all last year. Saved money for a better amplifier and now I can watch all the downloaded or bought stuff on my hometheatre and I can watch movie with my girlfriend without some one telling me "For god sake there are kids over here". Naah just kidding. but seriously as some one already said with the pop corn done the way i want and food i want, its just not worth going to theatre anymore. Please note I said worth. hey if they reduce the price i would still go.
the damn article is a perfect example of the fact that when people dont have anything good to write they will pick up an old issue and put some bling in it (alienware in this case) and put it in to fill the space.
The article have no comparison table and the final conclusion that it comes up with is alread known by all the supposed "dumb idiots" who go out to buy a desktop replacements. I mean seriously who was the target audience? computer freaks like me who would like to have a desktop replacement for lan or people who like to buy laptops for style and in some cases to show off.

The assumption is based on one killer phone in the future that will be basically a portable entertainment station and curiously this person is thinking that no other company will make another version of this phone. can anyone be more stupid than that.
Now which idiot is going to make a ultra super phone which will not support "one billion suckers".And if an idiot,lets say sony for the sake of argument, comes up with this phone,Panasonic will have them in dinner with a phone that will support itune and mp3.
