Seriously... i haven't seen a compelling push to change otherwise.
All linux distros have software that act like Word, iTunes, and Photoshop, but I already have that software here and it's ready to use. Why would I switch?
I used to be an Ubuntu user full time in college but then had to deal with work and other people; it's just easier to use Windows. I'm sure things have evolved tremendously since I used it but I don't see the draw to pull me back in.
(Ubuntu's Unity GUI does look beautiful though.
Oh please allow my Rhapsody web plug-in to work on this!! I don't know if it has the resources to support something like that but having Rhapsody streaming on a portable would be way too cool... all it has to do is support the plug-in from the website. That would ROCK!!
ROCK N' ROLL RACING 2, BIOTCH! or another Clay Fighter where you could duke it out with celebrity matches (freddy vs. jason, alien vs. predator, bush vs. kerry, SCO vs. Linux, Michael Jackson vs. a bunch of little boys... etc.)
Exactly... Anyone remember the emotion engine in PS2? Oh yeah that turned out to be so much more powerful than the other systems... scoff scoff... marketing is crap... theyre all going to be close enough in power in the end...
There is one thing to be said about great graphics, it shows the production value that was put into the game. The new "Realistic Zelda" with its amazing graphics just shows that Nintendo is putting its time and money into creating a great expierence. Even with the SNES game, for its time it had great graphics. There is something to be said for that. When all is said and done its the gameplay that makes you keep playing the game. Its like a pretty girl, the graphics only attract you at first, then you pray they hold up with time.
* Um, the president didn't pass the PATRIOT act. The congress did.
The PATRIOT act is one of the best examples of politcal marketing the US has ever seen. The name alone has gotten it very far. Who could possibly vote against it, the wouldn't be very patriotic...
Yeah that's a dirty bomb, alright... can you imagine how far a nuclear explosion could throw that chicken crap... I wouldn't be surprised if the US had a little poop shower that day.

Google: "See OK Go in HTML5; a new proprietary format for Chrome by Google! Don't be evil!"
I'd just like to see Apple have to implement a browser ballot! ;)
XP pushed me to Linux. Strangely, Vista brought me back. I think I'm the only person on the Internet who made that switch...
