    Apple will definitely go down this road.

    The judge gave clear language on how to display the apology, but not on what the apology should entail.

    Something like:

    "We apologize for implying that any Samsung product was as sleek or as easy to use as the (link to ipad page)Apple iPad.(\link)"

    Since Microsoft doesn't break it out any further than what I listed, neither you nor anyone else has any more insight into the actual Xbox profits.

    But playing along, if you add $250M for the last 2 quarters, you still only get $177M per quarter of profits for the division. Still going to take a long time to pay off the investment with that stream.

    At the cost of $1B/year in platform support payments, and huge loss of brand name value. (Windows Phone will be worth less when the premiere manufacturer dies)

    Still, better than doing it themselves.

    Are you really so ignorant as to not recognize that ARM isn't in the 'server or high end laptop' world?

    They're cheap and low power. Perfect for small mobile devices.

    However, I really don't understand why Intel won't play both sides of the fence. Why not build an AMD line/factory to offer both types of chips. Take away business from competitors. Get the past to pay for the future.
