    If you're making $40k in the US, you're not developing software like the software engineers at Google are.

    Or you graduated with a 2.4 GPA.

    Apple will definitely go down this road.

    The judge gave clear language on how to display the apology, but not on what the apology should entail.

    Something like:

    "We apologize for implying that any Samsung product was as sleek or as easy to use as the (link to ipad page)Apple iPad.(\link)"

    You might want to see who the OEMs were 15 years ago.

    Most of them aren't in that business any more. If they're in business at all.

    3 of the top 5 don't sell them any more.

    I think VMware has helped this a lot too.

    Need Windows? Spin up a VM or 3, whatever OS your company has licensed. Build your software, run your CAD program, etc. Delete it when done, build a template, whatever.

    Use the Mac for your stuff, including RDPing to your vCenter.

    Also, here's an Android 4 tablet with similar specs, but better screen (1900x1200) than SurfaceRT for $500.

    WinRT email is still limited.
    "Certain email sending features, since Windows RT does not support Outlook or other desktop mail applications (opening a mail app, such as the mail app that comes with Windows RT devices, and inserting your Office content works fine)"

    Why don't you think a much lower resolution screen is important? Probably more important for consumers wanting to play games & watch movies in hi-def.

    If your web app requires ActiveX or Flash or Quicktime or just about any other plug-in technology, it's dead on WinRT.

    I imagine that's not an insignificant percentage of web apps.

    Typical signing bonus is about 1/2 of salary, so that should cover taxes for a couple of years.
