You can argue all you want that it's just about patent court casts. But it's actually about how and why they're used. And you want to narrow it so it's just about the court cases, not why they're used.
Doesn't change the fact that Apple felt wronged and used court cases to remedy that. Just like Google is doing now.
In OS X, I can put the Applications folder on the dock, and navigate through ALL of the apps/sub-folders. One click. Same for Documents folder. Once click access to EVERY document in there, in any folder.
Until I can put my (Applications/Program Files) on any task bar and get to apps (not just ones with special extra shortcut in 'Programs') with one click like you can on OS X, all task bars are shit.
this is not somehow going to make HP, or Microsoft any less credible.
They're already un-credible.
So who messed with who?
Samsung by copying Apple?
or
Apple for suing Samsung?
or
Google for suing Apple?
I think Apple took your advice, and ran with it.
Let me take your wife/kids.
See if you don't snap out the gun.
But let me guess, that ain't happening for quite a few years.

That's your opinion. And it doesn't count.
The thread is about who was wronged first, not just court cases.
What if that random guy who looks like you decides to take your job/wife/house/kids/$10B?
But you only see it as a 'similar haircut'. Apple sees it differently. Very differently.
The problem is you think Apple 'defected'/shot first.
Apple thinks Google/Samsung 'defected'/shot first.
So who's actually right?
Doesn't fit so nicely now, does it?
Are you talking about Apple being invaded by copiers or Google being invaded by patent fights?
So what's ok for Google is not ok for Apple. Because Apple shot first. (Or in their eyes were infringed upon first)
Justify it all you want, but if it's bullshit one direction, it's bullshit the other direction.
Don't strikes mean winning court cases?
Yeah, the solution is to increase the TSA by 10x!!!
And the jobless rate will go to 0%!
But the security won't actually be any better.
Yeah, realized that after I posted.
Key quote from the article:
"Researchers found that NK603 and Roundup both caused similar damage to the rats' health whether they were consumed on their own or together."
Four groups:
1. Fed Roundup & GM corn - cancer
2. Fed Roundup - cancer
3. Fed GM corn - cancer
4. Fed no roundup or GM corn - no cancer.
Yeah, that's not it.

Israel's methods aren't scalable. They have a dozen airports.

The US has about 14,000.
If I had to install that shell, I'd agree with you, but OS X is based on BSD so it's part of the package that is OS X.
Yeah, that's not Windows. That's a separate program.
However, many people are used to Outlook and want to use it for any email.
But they can't on WinRT.
Interesting thought. Perhaps Steve Jobs was pushing skeuomorhpism for things HE grew up around.

Pretty sure rm doesn't work in Windows either.
Uh, outlook supports IMAP, POP, webcal, etc.
No need for a domain.
So, the simple answer is security. Fine point, but then if you didn't run on Windows...
Outlook: $$$ or unavailable on WinRT?
The question is why you need to manage a browser so much.
